INTIMX is an expanded research project that challenges normative understandings of intimacy. Through anonymous questionnaires, video testimonies, texts, performances, and activations, it seeks to destabilize and rethink intimacy from multiple angles, moving away from totalizing narratives and toward more fluid, situated, and plural imaginaries.
the exhibition critically reflects on how intimacy is shaped by new technologies, social media, and their influence on subjectivity and self-expression. Rather than framing intimacy as private or fixed, INTIMX treats it as porous, constructed, and in constant negotiation.
The project gathers voices and bodies that question the relationship between desire, exposure, care, and anonymity—raising issues of vulnerability, control, and agency. The exhibition becomes a living archive of affective contradictions and personal truths, inviting audiences to inhabit and imagine new modes of intimacy that are less rigid, more collective, and ultimately, more honest.
